Afterimage Ring

Two forms appear in quiet succession, as though one has left an impression of the other behind. Afterimage is inspired by the trace of light that remains even after its source has disappeared—the memory of a moment continuing beyond its end.

Its offset composition creates a sense of movement and repetition, while the contrast between sharp geometry and scattered brilliance reflects the tension between what is present and what lingers. Within Nocturne, Afterimage represents memory, perception and the lasting presence of something seen only briefly, yet never completely forgotten.
