We're great at decluttering wardrobes and kitchen cupboards, but the jewellery drawer?That's where good intentions go to hide. Step 1: Everything out, all at once

The "costume" brooch from Nan might not be costume at all; plenty of fine jewellery has been nearly thrown out by families who assumed old meant worthless.
